Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Remis Cove is our family cottage located on beautiful Lake Charlotte on the Eastern Shore. We are about a 1 hour drive from Halifax. The cottage is surrounded by crown land so you have the utmost privacy during your stay. We provide some water toys including 2 paddle boards and a 2 seat kayak. There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 full bath and a full kitchen. The hot tub is electric/wood burning, no jets. We provide wood for a fire at night while you enjoy the sunset. @remiscove
