The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Be in beautiful surroundings, breath in our fresh air and come back every day to your own modern yet country-feeling independent cottage. Private entrance into a decked area at the front, with covered hot tub and seating area. Large bedroom, fully tiled bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet hours 10pm-8am. Hot tub can be used any time.

We are ideally situated for exploring local walks and countryside and if you’re attending weddings at the nearby Eden Barn. Further afield is the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants. The Cottage in Brough accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms, and we are dog-friendly!

The Wayfarer's Hearth

Built in 1880, The Wayfarer's Hearth is a charming country cottage in the heart of Kirkby Stephen. Featuring a log burner, exposed beams, stone hearth, range cooker, roll-top bath and two cosy double bedrooms, it's ideal for couples and walking holidays. Just seconds from the high street, and next door to an excellent real ales micro pub, the cottage is conveniently located directly on the Coast to Coast route with easy access to Podgill and Smardale Viaducts and the Nine Standards walks.

La'l Riggs

La'l Riggs is a former outbuilding we converted in 2025. Surrounded by fields and fells, it's an ideal base for exploring the many beautiful locations within easy reach, including the North Pennines National Landscape, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The Eden Valley is primarily walking country, and there's an excellent choice of routes in the area. The village is a 15 minute walk away, and has a bar/restaurant, two cafes and a chippy, as well as a shop for everyday groceries.

Westwood Farm

Our home and your delightful holiday residence Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy relaxing outside with views across to the fells. Sleep in a very comfortable double-bed, refresh in the en-suite shower and wet-room, utilise the well-equipped kitchen and relax watching TV, listening to the radio, reading or playing games. Like walking or cycling? Use our extensive knowledge of routes, use our boot wash, indoor bike store, bike wash & work station and drying room.

Barn annexe La’L Skaithe

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements!
