Casa Carmona, a Mid-City Garden Oasis near Museums

Casa Carmona is a little oasis in the big city. It's convenient to just about anywhere you would want to visit while in Los Angeles. Private entrance allows you to come and go as you please. Very diverse selection of restaurants and there is a 7-11 as well as a small grocery store (that delivers) less than a block away if you would rather eat in. Laundromat and dry cleaners are one block away which is helpful for longer stays. Street parking is available. Convenient to public transportation. Full access to the guest house and the backyard area including lounge chairs and dining table. I live in the adjacent house so am able to offer help during guest's stay. I love meeting my guests from all over the world but respect your privacy and comfort! Casa Carmona sits behind a charming Spanish house in Wilshire Vista, a neighborhood created in the 1920s. This is a diverse and safe area, within walking distance of Museum Row and the Grove. Plenty of free parking is available. Approximately half my guests rent a car and there is unrestricted street parking available except for street cleaning on Tuesday afternoons. The other half of my guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes. There is plentiful public transportation within walking distance. One bus stop is less than a block away on one major street and another the opposite direction a block and a half from the house. There is also a Zip Car location less than a block away. The main bed is full size. The pullout sofa is twin bed. There is a small fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 2 burner electric cooktop, and George Forman grill for cooking. Also have a Keurig for coffee and electric tea kettle and assortment of teas. There is a end table that is gate-leg so can be used for in-room dining. Folding chairs in closet as well as extra folding table in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom. Plenty of closet space. Two luggage racks. Iron is provided. I also provide a beach blanket, tote and towels for excursions to the beach. For relaxation time at the Casa there are plentiful entertainment options including Amazon Echo, TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, many movies, PlayStation and several board games with even more available upon request!

Recent renovations from roof to foundation, heat/AC system, 1 Giga/sec wifi, wired in + out with 11 speakers, movie projector + two 4k TVs (free Netflix, HBOMax and AppleTV+), 2-car parking with level 2 electric charger. Please note: No social gatherings or late, loud nights. Interior = 1015 sq ft. Deck = 300 sq ft.

Stylish back house with kitchenette, microwave and hot plate + a dining area that doubles as a workspace. Comfortable bed with nice linens + loveseat for reading. Private front porch area for morning coffee. Minutes away from coffee, restaurants and all the fun that is Los Feliz! While we want you to feel completely at home, we do ask that you keep it down when walking to and from the unit and when on the private patio (as a courtesy to our neighbors). Laundry! Easy street parking! No pets.

Welcome to Los Feliz! Enjoy a stay in our beautiful suite, tucked away in your own private garden. Located on the lower level of our home with a separate entrance. The suite is newly renovated with plenty of light and charm. Occasionally you may hear overhead sounds from upstairs. Outside you can relax under the pergola and enjoy the sunshine. Blocks away is all Los Feliz has to offer from fun restaurants and eclectic shopping to grocery stores and ice cream, and minutes from Griffith Park.

At 450 sq. feet, Faffy’s Place is a large private single guest house on a quiet Los Feliz/Silverlake hillside. Faffy’s Place is completely private with its own entrance, garden and patio. It has been newly remodeled with a full feature kitchen and bathroom.

Tree House Getaway in the Hollywood Hills

Come lounge in style in the Hollywood Hills. This private 1-bedroom rental has everything you could need- large bedroom, kitchenette, living room, bath, and a huge enclosed covered porch. This space really takes indoor/ outdoor living to the next level. The porch has a tree house vibe complete with hanging day bed. There’s an additional garden to relax in. Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.
