Best location Summer Rental

We are in California during the summer and rent out our home May-mid August. Our home sleeps 6 comfortably. We ask that you help take care of the home as if it were your own as we leave a lot of our personal items there. We are located 1 minute from Birmingham's best shopping area, The Summit with lots of great shopping, a theater and restaurants.There are also a handful of restaurants you can walk to from our house. Like Alabama Biscuit, Miss Myras BBQ, Crestline Bagel, and El Zun Zun.

Newly renovated bungalow in beautiful neighborhood of Forest Park. Blackout curtains/blinds in all 3 bedrooms. Close to everything downtown while still in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. 5 min drive to center of town. 8min drive to UAB. 3 min drive or short walk to all of the following: 3 breweries (Includes Popular Avondale and Cahaba Breweries), 2 parks, Avondale entertainment district, or the more quaint Forest Park restaurant district.. Ring doorbell on front door for security.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This lake front house, steps from the water, has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths (1300 SQ FT). These rooms include 2 guest rooms and a master suite with attached bath. There is 360 feet of water front with expansive views. This property including private covered dock great for fishing. Sprawling deck. Located in a quite cove right off the main channel. Private boat launch just down the road. Fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

We've recently completed many updates to our home from exterior driveway/walkway lighting to an all new, upscale, boat dock that includes overhead gazebo with room to sit the entire family. The home also boasts lake views from every bedroom, hardwood flooring throughout, granite countertops in the kitchen, food disposal, tile showers, room for 8 people around the primary dinner table plus two additional seating areas. Bennington pontoon with 115hp motor is available for daily rental.

Located in the heart of Blount County. The Austin House-Glen Arbor is convenient to Birmingham, Huntsville, and surrounding areas-close to interstates- walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. As of 11-9-23 we are no longer a pet friendly rental. *complete bathroom model- Feb 2022**. Please note- we love guests. But, our home is not a party house- even for bridal and groomsmen.
