The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. The bright living space includes a 50" smart TV, breakfast bar with stools and a dining table. The house/kitchen is EXTRA stocked! The KING SUITE has a bathroom plus there is a Coral Queen Room and a Groovy Bedroom, with a Queen bed plus twin plus extra mattress, which share a hall bathroom. OSR is just over a mile from downtown, boat ramps & all that King's Bay has to offer.

Relax riverside at the private park where you can fish and swim. Park is five minute walk (2 blocks) from the home. Free for guest use are kayaks and paddle boards. They can be transported with the golf cart which has a hitch and kayak trailer. If your vehicle has a hitch you may to use it for other area destinations.

There is a lovely covered patio where you can enjoy meals cooked in the fully stocked kitchen. There are two bedrooms that are both en-suite. For additional sleeping there is a sleeper sofa in the lounge. We will accommodate Dogs (up to two) but NO CATS... Owner is highly allergic. There is a $75 additional pet fee per stay.
