Come Enjoy our Farm! Set in the Lower Frisco Valley south of Reserve you can enjoy the beautiful Gila National Forest and still be close to town and all its charming amenities. Our 2 bed/ 1 bath guesthouse is located on our working farm. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch & breath in the fresh air and the green fields around you. Watch the grazing sheep in the field. While we love animals, and the farm cats may come greet you on the porch, we do have a NO PETS policy for the farmhouse.

This cabin is located deep in the Gila National Forest of western New Mexico. It is one of the most remote locations in the lower 48 accessible by vehicle. 41 miles of forest road lead you to this beautiful hidden valley high in the mountains. Surrounded by 3 million acres of high country it's a haven for hikers, bikers, photographers, bird watchers, Jeepers, porch sitters, book readers and writers. Amazing wildlife viewing from the cabin porch. Just a few miles from the Gila Wilderness area.

Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

Running Horse Inn

We have a lush irrigated oasis in the San Francisco River valley, close by the river. Cottonwood and elm provide ample shade, and attract a wide assortment of bird and animal life. Plentiful wildlife in the area, the Catwalk National Recreation Trail is nearby, the Cosmic Campground is just up the highway, and access to the Gila Wilderness by way of ghost town or trails. Jude has a working pottery studio and a small gallery of her work. Horses, ducks, dogs and cats complete the setting.
