Here you are in nature, away from it all, without being too remote, but with a great pub, village shop, and Talisker distillery 15 mins. away. Many beautiful walks from the cottage, and the Cuillin mountains all at your doorstep.

The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Super views of Loch Harport from glass doors & decking. Ideally situated for exploring the island. Carbost village 1km with local shop, post office, cafes, pub & the famous Talisker Distillery. 5 min drive to Fairy pools, Talisker & Glenbrittle beaches and the magnificent Cuillins

Grants House

An original Skye Croft House, overlooking Loch Harport with views to the Cuillins. Its just a three minute drive from the village of Carbost with its “Old Inn” pub, restaurant and trad music sessions, the “Cafe Cuil” restaurant, a coffee shop, the “Talisker Distillery” with its tours and it’s off shoot “Three Chimneys at Talisker” The house is furnished with my mix of old with the modern & of course the essential log stove for chilly nights

Cosy, secluded cottage, dating back to the 1700's with lots of character and all modern day comforts for a memorable holiday on the Isle of Skye. Centrally located to visit all of Skye's visitor attractions, being equidistant from both the North and South of the island. The cottage has a double bedroom for two people. However if separate rooms are required, then please inform when booking and this can be arranged.
