Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Have some adventures, or just relax, at this unique cabin retreat. Located in Alberta’s beautiful Foothills bordering on to famous Kananaskis country. Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. Pre arranged horse accommodation available if you want a bed and bail experience with your horse (Contact for details) at an additional cost. Winter visits only possible with a 4x4 vehicle

There are 4 year round bedrooms inside the house and one seasonal bedroom in the screened in porch that functions in the warmer months from around mid May through mid September. Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

Birken House Bakery

Birken House is located above a home based bakery in the grounds of a 110-year old farmhouse, and is rumoured to be the location of an original stagecoach stop on the Douglas Trail. The suite is south facing, with tasteful decor and big folding doors opening on to an awesome view . It's rustic but contemporary; airy in summer and cosy in winter. It’s 30 minutes north of Pemberton, and is a great base from which to explore Birkenhead Provincial Park, Gates and Anderson Lakes

Holmwood Farm Julia’s Kitchen Suite

Julia’s Suite features a full kitchen. An adjoining (Buds Lounge Suite) can also be rented for up to four additional guests. Holmwood Farm is a very scenic property with great views and lots of hiking and x country ski trails. It is home to a small flock of sheep, and cows which are grazed regeneratively. . You will have access to fresh vegetables from our garden in the summer months , and free range eggs, pastured meats and locally sourced gifts from our farm store.

Whatever brings you, a peaceful solo retreat or couples get away, this historic tiny home is setup to satisfy, gas fireplace, windows that open & screen door. Modernized in 2020 with full bathroom and kitchenette, it’s a vast change from when my Grandfather built it for shelter from the harsh prairie winters. The logs were harvested over 100 years ago in the Saddlehills and brought to this working family grain farm. Now it’s all play & relax!
