The back deck offers a beautiful scenic views on the bayou and lake. Bringing extra family or friends? For an additional fee you can rent the Caboose which used to be a working rail car which been converted to a one bedroom (queen), kitchen and bathroom lodge which shares the back deck with the Caddo Lake Lodge.

The Ginocchio Meyer Home

Welcome! We want to share a bit of history with you! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience staying at this unique & intricate beautiful 1890’s home. In the 1890’s Charles Ginocchio, owner of the Ginocchio Hotel and the Ginocchio home, had this home built by C. G. Lancaster for Emile Meyers, who operated a saloon in the hotel. Emile, an immigrant from Alsace-Lorraine continued to work at the hotel for many years. During the prohibition era, he converted the saloon into a soda fountain.
