A former artist's studio in the beautiful hillcrest park neighborhood of Mount Vernon. This spacious 550 square foot, second floor loft has 4 skylights that bring lots of natural light. It has its own entrance, a dining area, sitting area with fold-out couches, kitchenette and queen bed. Close to family-friendly activities, including Hillcrest Park playgrounds, public transport, and the city center. This studio is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The Loft at Thunder Creek

Bird lovers come and enjoy Eagles and Kingfishers hunting along the creek. Relax and rejuvenate in the spacious 600 square foot loft above a garage. There are 16 stairs to climb to get there. You will also enjoy the 200 square foot attached deck. There is one full sized bed and a roll away twin size bed. There is a small European shower, it measures 32"x 32". You will travel a mile on an unpaved, country road to get here, in the winter months a 4wheel drive vehicle or chains would be wise.

Thompson Cottage

Our sweet little cottage has recently been updated with laminate floors, new trim, doors, butcher block counter tops and back splash. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the Keurig in the morning and snuggle up on the large sectional with a movie in the evening. All of our bedding is cotton and the queen bed has a memory foam topper on it. Recently built fence separates the yard for privacy. Lots of love went into creating this cozy, happy place for guests to stay.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. Riverclay Studio is hidden away in the alley just a few steps from the Skagit River. Edgewater Park and many popular restaurants, pubs, espresso and entertainment opportunities are within walking distance. It is reached by way of stairs from the back of the original Riverclay Studio which we once ran as a pottery and gallery and was once our home. Our address is also home to Skagit Valley Larder that operates in the downstairs level of the building.
