This lovely late 1800’s home is filled with original charm but has been spruced up to meet modern needs. It is located near the Mighty Mississippi and only a 3 minute drive to our beautiful downtown. Fun City Courts and the Rec Plex are just a quick 10 minutes away. At noon and 6:00 pm you will hear the charm of local church bells ringing if you are outside.

This is the ground floor apartment in our gable-front stucco house. Built in 1841, our home is a contributing structure to Fort Madison's Park-to-Park Residential Historic District. It features a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, as well as beautiful hardwood floors throughout the space. We're located three blocks from the restored Santa Fe Depot, our front porch overlooks Fort Madison's Central Park, and we're a short drive (25 minutes) from Nauvoo.

Mosquito Park Condo

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish 1890 building. There's a park that overlooks the Mississippi. And for the musically inclined there is a piano. Play your heart out! And it's just a short walk downtown. Where there's lots of great restaurants and cool shops. Rates are set by AirBnB. I offer weekly and monthly stays discounts. If there are any more than two guests there will be an additional charge for the third to eighth guests.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

Room for All! With three fully furnished levels, Porches & Pines can comfortably sleep up to 20 guests. Our country farmhouse is located in rural Southeast Iowa and is the perfect place for a country retreat. Built on the edge of a Christmas tree farm, you will enjoy the peaceful environment of the 4 porches and the sound of the wind whispering through the pines.

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. Cozy 2 bed, 1 bath with all the amenities of home. There is also a queen sized sofa bed in the living room. Enjoy the full kitchen, grill, back deck and spacious front patio with a fire pit. This house is located right next door to another of our Airbnb's. It also offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 sofa beds.
