Situated in North Cork, in the heart of Munster, within an hours drive of major cities in the south. The Cottage is only 500 metre’s, with views of the Galtee Mountains, from the beautiful ‘Famous’ Kildorrery town and a 10 minute drive from Mitchelstown (M7 Motorway). One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

We are close to Cork City, Ballincollig, Farran Woods, National Rowing Centre, UCC Zip it , CUH and Lee Valley golf. There are some pubs and restaurants nearby such as the Kilumney Inn, Ovens Bar and Lee Valley Golf Club + White Horse. A car is necessary. EV charging available payable locally.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden.
