Originally from Russia (hence the name “Beriozka” meaning Birch Tree) I live in Stamford CT. About 7-8 years ago I’ve discovered Chester/ Essex area and fell in love. I’ve been coming here during summer to enjoy river rides, during winter just to see snow on the ground of old towns and needless to say during fall – when all the beauty of nature unfolds. Then came an idea to have an own place here and when an opportunity came to buy this small cottage on Cedar Lake I’ve jumped on it.

Quaint country cottage, with beautiful hardwood floors, screened in porch, claw foot bathtub and lots of antiques set on a naturally landscaped 1 acre property. The original cottage was built in 1932, but was completely renovated in the last 5 years. 650 square feet with a bedroom, bathroom, lounge on the 2nd floor loft, and an open floor plan with living area, dining area and kitchen on the first floor. French doors lead from the dining area to a large screened in porch.

Kent, CT is the place to be if you enjoy the outdoors; hiking, birding, kayaking, fishing, biking and walking as the scenery is beautiful. This northwest corner of CT in the Litchfield Hills is a magical, laid back area of New England where you will find neighborhood bars, not clubs. Cottage overlooking the CT river

Adorable 1800 cottage with views of the CT River. Upstairs bedroom with a king. Bathroom downstairs with a small tub / shower and a tiny kitchen. Other room is a living room with a desk/ table but has a queen pull out bed ( needs to be requested ahead of time. Watch the Essex steam train, Becky Thatcher riverboat, or hang out at the river, bring your kayaks or paddleboards as there is a boat ramp right across the street.

Owned by Mary and managed by Elizabeth, the cottage has one bedroom, wifi and plenty of charm...truly the perfect place to relax in a rustic, low-key location in the heart of the Litchfield Hills. Mohawk Mountain and Tyler lake are just a short car ride.

Newly renovated house. New kitchen with skylights. New bathrooms with standing showers. New bedroom en-suite with small balcony overlooking the lake. Quiet area. AC units in bedroom only. Sorry no pets because of owner allergies. Queen bed in master and full-size+ twin second bedroom.
