Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

This clean, modern, Scandinavian-feeling cabin, sleeps up to 5; 1 Queen, 1 pull out couch, 1 twin bed. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer for your clothes after a day of hiking or skiing. Timber frame cabin built on a hilltop, on 20 acres of old growth maples. Walls of glass, a screened in porch and a wrap around deck bring the outdoors inside. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
