Daisys cottage is on a quiet road in the World Heritage Site town of Blaenau ffestiniog, a ten minute walk from the town centre. Its just a 2 minute drive from zip world blaenau, llechwedd slate caverns, antur stiniog mountain bike centre, go below underground and ffestiniog railway station (steam and mainline). The town itself has numerous pubs and cafes and a bar and grill serving various meals. a short ten minute drive in various directions will take you to other pubs and restaurants.

Adjacent to the owner’s home, the property has perfect views of the Ffestiniog Railway and the steam train as it makes its way past on its delightful journey down to the coast at Porthmadog. This character cottage provides an excellent base from which to explore Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Dolwyddelan Castle, Betws-y-Coed, Porthmadog and Portmeirion. Visit the Antur Stiniog mountain bike trails catering for beginners and experts, the fantastic Bounce Below underground trampolines and fly over a slate quarry at Zip World. You can even visit Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon, or try your hand at white water rafting at Afon Tryweryn near Bala.
