This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. AC upstairs. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

It's only a short walk to the Summit Golf Course & Shanty Town. You will have access to the beach club on Lake Bellaire and the Snowshoe outdoor pool. As of March 2026, resort pool access is no longer included.

It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.
