The Highland Haven, converted barn, John O'Groats

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. Rowan Cottage is a relaxing and cosy one bedroom hideaway on the NC500, in a tranquil countryside location only a short drive to the town of Thurso. 10 minutes to beaches, forests, Dunnet Head - and incredible night skies and auroras from the doorstep! Outside there is a private garden, parking area and decking with stunning open views to Orkney. Perfect for couples and those looking for a peaceful retreat, but can sleep up to 4. Dogs are welcome, and yes they will love it!!
