Birkelunn Log Cabin, Ballater, Balmoral, Aboyne

Birkelunn is a traditional Norwegian Log Cabin, built in 1938, with a grass roof and many original features, and an open fireplace in the living room, with southerly views, the lodge has a ‘get away from it all’ atmosphere. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, with stunning southerly views over Royal Deeside, half a mile walk through Scottish woodlands to the Cambus O’May Bridge over the river Dee. 2 Miles from Ballater, 2.5 miles to Dinnet and 20 drive to Aboyne. 40 mins to Glen Shee.
