The Woodland Hive and Forest Spa

The Woodland Hive is a four-season geodesic glamping dome and outdoor Nordic spa located in a private getaway surrounded by forest on a hobby farm and apiary. The space has an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue, chiminea and yard. Included is a forest spa experience. Soak all of your stress away in the cedar hot tub and relax in the cedar wood-fired sauna. It’s a perfect escape outside of the city, but still close to several attractions along the Fundy coast. Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

The River Dome

Escape into nature with a stay in one of our luxury domes. Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils, etc, as well as coffee and tea. Private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and essential toiletries. Two queen size beds with a loft space. The outdoor area includes a BBQ, private electric hot tub, and patio furniture. Kayaks are available during the summer months, as well as a communal fire pit. **Please note, there is a short walk down a hill to get to the dome**

At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. When night falls sit back and relax at the fire pit as you look out on the ocean. Enjoy your stay!

We would like to share this piece of our paradise with you, located on a tranquil, crystal clear lake. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

Welcome to Jolicure Cove! Located just 10 minutes from the Aulac Big Stop. Prepare yourself for a total nature immersion in our private lake front dome. You can expect complete peace and quiet except the sounds of the breeze, the loons and other forest animals. The dome is the only one on the property, which sits on over 40 acres! Enjoy yourself playing games on the lawn, sitting around a fire at the fire pit, or reading out on the dock.
