Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk.

Jacks Cottage -

A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

We have a standalone studio benefitting from its own kitchenette and bathroom, tucked away in the village of Brabourne Lees, Kent. The accommodation is within the main house, but with its own front door and privacy. The location is ideal for hiking or cycling in the nearby countryside, enjoying country pubs and visiting the coast. We are also 15-min drive from the Shuttle and 30-min from Dover. You can enjoy a day trip to the historic centre of Canterbury, Port Lympne Reserve and lots more.

Take a break and unwind in the beautiful kent countryside, but still have great access to road and rail networks. Only half a mile away is the newly opened Wishful Thinker pub and restaurant. 1mile away is the village of Lenham, the picturesque square has 2 public houses, a couple of restaurants and a tea room. Historic and beautiful Leeds castle is only 4 miles away and the city of Canterbury is 23miles. Lenham has rail link to London and Ashford. 4.5 miles to junction M20 junction 8.

The quintessential Kent village of Chilham is nearby, with the coast at Whitstable only a 30 minute drive away. The barn is in the grounds of our 15th century house but nicely private. It’s decorated in modern rustic style, with underfloor heating and a wood burner. Outside is a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and stargazing before climbing into the king-size bed, dressed with soft Egyptian cotton. There's a walk-in rain shower and robes, books, DVDs, games, WiFi and a Smart TV. Tear yourself away to explore forests, gardens, vineyards, castles, and National Trust houses.
