Welcome to The Cofer House - a wonderful overnight option in the Ashburn, GA area. A newly renovated (2022) country property that features all of the amenities to keep you comfortable away from home. It is both a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Cofer House is located on a quiet country road, with beautiful views overlooking a pond and farm fields, but still convenient to many places. Just a 15 min drive off I-75; 7 miles S. of Ashburn, 15 miles to Sylvester and 22 miles from Tifton.

The Project House

Built in the 1930’s as one of the Irwinville Farms project houses, it served originally as home to project farmer Randolph Martin, his wife Estelle, and their children, Frances, Betty, and Jimmy. The house and farm are still owned and operated today by descendants of the Martin family. The house is situated in the middle of a actively working farm consisting of row crops, such as peanuts, corn, cotton and cattle, so guest may experience sights, sounds, and smells that reflect such.
