Direct access to the river allows you to head north and explore deep into Bankhead Forrest or head south to Smith Lake. Backed up to a rock bluff with a natural spring, there is a seating area with a firepit that provides a serene escape to nature or use the deck for cooking and river views. Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
