Converted in 2017 from a small barn (circa 1850), the self-contained studio combines character with tasteful furnishings. TOTAL REFURBISHMENT MAY 2025 with new kitchenette, flooring, carpet, wood panelling. Separate from the main house with security gates and 24 hour CCTV, providing parking, an outdoor seating area and views over the paddock of sheep and free range chickens. Upton is a small village, two miles from Southwell, with country walks and a local pub serving freshly prepared food.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Unwind at our peaceful cottage, tucked away in a quiet Lincolnshire village. With easy access to the A1 just 3-4 minutes away leading to Grantham, Stamford to the South and Newark and York to the North. The village of Long Bennington (4 mins by car or 20 mins by foot over country paths - difficult in the dark / can be muddy) offers 3 pubs with food, 2 takeaways, a coop store, and cafe, with beautiful walks along the river Witham from the doorstep, a real retreat from the busy and hectic.

The Granary is a beautifully converted Lincolnshire barn, bursting with character and the perfect location from which to explore this historic county. Situated on the very edge of the rural village of Digby, the Granary forms one side of the original yard and stables.

Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Set in the Vale of Belvoir between Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett a self contained annex is offered. The house lies 20 minutes from the historic town of Newark, Nottingham and Melton Mowbray and is ideally placed for a day out exploring Belvoir Castle or Holme Pierrepont Country Park (a major water sport centre). The property backs onto the Grantham Canal providing excellent walks and a cycle route. A secure garage is offered for bicycles.

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

It looks out onto its own patio in a shared garden. Suitable for a night's stop over or a few days away. We also offer access to an indoor heated swimming pool which is adjacent to the main house.
