This two bedroom ca 1945 bungalow house located on a private street along Mink Creek, is located in historic downtown Scottsville, located on the James River. Within walking distance are four restaurants and a brewery. A grocery store and other restaurants also a short drive away. A nature area, fishing lake and trail are directly across from the house. It has a kitchen, dining and living area. Wifi is available. If this house is already reserved, I may have other properties available.

Peaceful Meadows “Home away from home”

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. For some peaceful moments you can take a short stroll on the trails around the property. You can enjoy a peaceful day of fishing at the pond which is well stocked with crappie, bass, shell cracker, and catfish. We practice catch and release here on the property. But if you want to cook up the catch of the day as the main course that’s ok as well. Then kick back and sit around the camp fire with s’mores and looking at the moonlight.

Woodhaven Farm is a beautiful 250-acre working cattle farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 26 miles south of Charlottesville in Scottsville, VA. Woodhaven Farm is a working farm producing 100% grass-fed beef. Surrounded by rolling meadows and woodlands, the farm is quiet and wonderfully isolated yet close to many of the attractions that make Virginia a desirable place to visit. Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.
