Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Tucked away in a beautiful forest of birch and spruce, our Hytte offers a thoughtful space to rest and explore. The furnishings have been thoughtfully curated to be minimalist, warm and peaceful. Many items are vintage or made by us. We have purposefully chosen amenities that are low waste and environmentally conscious. As a welcome to our guests, we provide fresh eggs from our flock of chickens, homemade granola, milk, fresh fruit, coffee and tea!

This yurt is the perfect basecamp for all your Denali adventures. Please be aware this is a semi-rustic lodging experience blending casual comforts and an authentic Alaskan experience. Healy is the “town” north of the park, so there are services, but no public transportation to get around.

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.
