The 250 square foot "Pine Cone" is a one room, round yurt-style cabin located on our 8 acre property. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. We love this area - there is nothing like a cool, crisp Midwest morning overlooking the Wisconsin River. Ever wanted to see what goes on in a commercial bakery? Imagine waking to the aroma of baking bread and cinnamon rolls? Get a bird's eye view into the kitchen of the Village Hive Bakery Kitchen while staying in the newly renovated "flatlet". Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.

Driftless Bluff Glamping Cabin, Peaceful, Secluded

Rustic forest glamping in a heavy duty waterproof fabric shelter, 14 x 20ft. with a 5ft. awning. The perfect get away from it all, relax and enjoy nature. Flashlights, solar lights, propane 2-burner stove, and fire pit with grate. Kitchen set up with dishes, silverware, fully stocked coffee bar, filter water pitcher, shower bucket and most everything else. Compost toilet and foot pump sink. Small wood stove for when it's cold and a fan for when it's hot with battery to charge extras.

Our quaint log cabin overlooks a small pond and is situated on 40 acres of woodland; the only other development on the property is a charming farmhouse down the lane (our home). Cozy up with a good book next to the wood-burning stove. Watch the local wildlife from a rocking chair on the covered porch. Gaze at the stars on a clear night. Visit nearby trout streams, antique stores, and local sights, then come back to this simple, well-appointed respite in the woods.

Sunset Cottage

Quaint quiet two bedroom house with a full kitchen, spacious living room, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill along with a nice view of Castle Rock Lake. Relax with the whole family playing games at this peaceful place. This house is a no smoking , no pets. When using the hot tub, food and glass containers are not allowed.We have added a washer and dryer, electric fireplaces and a work space that is at the table in the rec room. The Wi-Fi is wireless.
