Nestled at the head of Loch Park, Loch End Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a breathtaking location. It’s entirely off grid, allowing you to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting. The cottage sleeps two, in a cosy king-sized bed, with direct access to a shower room. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting, kitchen and dining room with log stove and views to the loch. Ballater is an attractive riverside village in rural Aberdeenshire with many amenities including an interesting Golf Course. There are significant Royal Connections with Balmoral Castle, the summer residence of the Royal Family only a short drive away.There are a good number of places to eat, catering for many tastes as well as a well stocked supermarket. Outdoor activities include many walks and Biking trails with two bike hire sources in the village and the Cairngorms are not too far away.

Enjoy the beautiful, ever-changing views from your coastal town hideaway over Banff harbour and bay and across to Macduff. Chill out on the windowseat and just watch the waves roll in. Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Royal Deeside 1 Bedroom self-contained 'Bothy'

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.
